THE MOST SIGNIFICANT INFOCOMMUNICATION EVENT OF THE YEAR!
From April 11 to 14, the annual exhibition "Svyaz-2023" was held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds
This year, the exhibition was part of the "Russian High-Tech Week", which united several exhibitions, forums, and conferences in the fields of information technology, telecommunications, navigation, and telematics.
Our colleagues attended the event and evaluated the key trends in information and telecommunication technologies.
Yuri Stepanov, Head of New Segments Development at JSC "NVBS":
*"The 'Svyaz-2023' exhibition holds special significance for NVBS this year. In 2021, we set a course to develop the company as a systems integrator and provider of standard solutions in IT and telecom. Our development strategy focuses on strengthening competencies in development, implementation, and operation. With the departure of foreign vendors and the emergence of parallel imports, we are keen to establish cooperation with Russian manufacturers whose products were showcased at the exhibition.
This year, the pavilions featuring Russian companies impressed with their diverse import-substitution solutions in information and communication technologies. Despite challenges in production, logistics, and project budgeting, the stands of Russian companies continue to surprise and delight with new approaches, products, and solutions. Most of the presented manufacturers are already involved in NVBS projects or solutions in one way or another.
A series of negotiations and agreements between top officials in digital development and leading IT companies will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of our company's projects. Moreover, this is Russia's largest business platform for professionals to network, find suppliers and new sales channels, and identify trends in IT and telecommunications."*
Alexander Chernyshev, Head of Telecom Operator Relations at JSC "NVBS", shared that as a systems integrator, NVBS is seeing growing demand, which is expected to further increase by year-end. He noted growth in the services market, including technical support, warranty obligations, audits of existing IT equipment, and services for redesigning project solutions.
Alexander, a regular attendee of "Svyaz" exhibitions (except during the quarantine year), remarked: "The 2023 exhibition is certainly different from previous ones, as it primarily features companies from three countries: Russia, China, and friendly Iran. Now, Russian manufacturers dominate both in numbers and the level of solutions. It was impressive to see companies offering technical support for many manufacturers that have left our market—a testament to years of accumulated experience under sanctions. I believe Iran could be a promising IT partner for us."
For NVBS, the exhibition resulted in expanded cooperation with participating vendors. Contracts were signed with new suppliers, and connections were established, paving the way for broader NVBS solutions.
NVBS is successfully embracing a new business direction—"To the East!" We thank the conference organizers for an event that brought together thousands of IT and telecom professionals!
